if it seems like a good idea, explicitly allow as(foo,"data.frame") to call phylo4ToDataFrame perhaps??? (more challenging) allow as(df,"phylo4[d]")

Date: 2009-08-21 22:24 Sender: François Michonneau If I understand you correctly, I think it's not possible: as() can't take any additional arguments. as(df, "phylo4[d]") could be a little challenging, but doable. Let's plan it for the next major future release!
