test tree repository

Detailed description
It would be very useful to have a file, or data object with a variety of different trees, e.g. trees w/ polytomies, reticulation, singletons, broken trees, big trees, node labels, etc. This would aid development of robust functions and reduce a lot of testing repetition.

I like the idea of having them stored as a data object. But, we should also keep the code used to generate the trees somewhere. misc/ ?

I have attached a file with a few basic ones (no polytomies, no node labels yet). What do people think about the appropriate format? The list of trees could be stored as a data object [unless we have some really huge examples?], there could also be a data frame giving characteristics and notes ...
