Update NCL

Detailed description
We are currently using version 2.0 of the Nexus Class Library. However, versions 2.1 and 2.2 (including swig support) are available. Furthermore, the Rcpp package has seen active development since it was used to build our current NCL support, though we may decide it is better to use the NCL swig interface instead.

It's also difficult, as Steve noted. Last mini-hack I spent over a day trying and failing to get it upgraded.
Date: 2009-08-18 22:29 Sender: Steven Kembel Updating phylobase to use NCL > 2.0 looks to be non-trivial. Will post to phylobase-devl list about this to discuss how to proceed and ask NCL experts their opinions.
