Dear Rebecca I think that the R package "sfa" (available at CRAN) can estimate SFA models with an exponential distribution of the inefficiency term. BTW: I do not understand your last sentence, because I did not assume an exponential distribution of the inefficiency term in my three-step procedure to impose monotonicity. Best regards, Arne |

Dear Prof. Arne, Please I was wondering if there is an R code available for estimating technical efficiency with exponential distribution. I need to estimate this model in R because I want to apply your 3 step approach to impose monotonicity. Thanks, Rebecca |
