Dear Rob

Function quantityIndex() cannot (yet) use an EKS transformation. I think that it would be good if quantityIndex() could do this but unfortunately, I won't have time to implement this feature in the near future. You are more than invited to implement the EKS transformation in quantityIndex().

Best regards,
Arne

quantityIndex with EKS transitivity transformation [ Reply ]

Hi,

I am using quantityIndex to calculate a Fisher index, and would like to use an EKS (Elteto-Koves-Szulc; http://unstats.un.org/unsd/methods/icp/ipc5_htm.htm#_2) tranformation to ensure transitivity. Is there a feature (existing or forthcoming) to allow this to be done easily within the micEcon package.

Thanks.
