Summary: maxent() now 10x faster
Project: Functional diversity

I've tweaked Bill Shipley's FORTRAN routine to speed up maxent() substantially. It's about 10 times faster than the previous version, which used only R code for the while loop, which was the real bottleneck in terms of speed. Comments welcome!
